A new and exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our highly successful service team. This is a rare opportunity to join a leading, national automotive group and perform work across a wide variety of brands.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicles accurately, within a given time frame, and with a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Performing diagnostic work accurately according to daily work orders as received.
  • Attending and completing training as required.
  • Servicing, repairing and reporting all necessary work.
  • Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles.
  • Taking all necessary diagnostic steps to ensure the correct operation of vehicles
  • Preforming general maintenance and servicing as needed.
  • Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians.
  • Providing high level customer service to the dealership’s customers
  • Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialized equipment.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Experience as a Diagnostic Technician is essential.
  • A/C Repair ticket will be highly regarded.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Able to carry out duties in a manner that demonstrates ability to achieve efficiency and quality.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
  • Manual drivers licence is mandatory.
