Business Analyst (Financial System Migration) Inner Western Suburbs Fixed Term / Permanent $100k - $125k package Talenza has been engaged by a community-based organisation to source a Business Analyst to work on a financial system migration. The organisation is embarking on a huge digital transformation that will affect all parts of how the organisation operates and delivers services. As part of this transformation the organisation is transitioning from a legacy financial system to a new system that will reduce administrative burden, automate processes, and improve efficiencies. The organisation is looking for experienced BAs with experience in financial systems with an emphasis on process mapping. About the company The organisation has embarked on an enterprise-wide digital transformation which will include major changes to how the organisation operates day to day - this includes how they work with the local community and how the business operates internally. Key Responsibilities: Lead the analysis and documentation of current state processes within the legacy financial system. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement and integrations Utilise tools such as Visio to map out processes and workflows effectively. Work closely with vendors to evaluate, select, and implement new financial solutions. Drive the integration of technologies including APIs and M365, to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Provide expertise in data migration strategies and ensure seamless transition to the new system. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and understanding. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to financial systems. Expertise in process mapping and documentation using Visio or similar tools. Strong understanding of financial systems and processes, with prior experience in system migrations. Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and Microsoft 365. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
