Who are we?

Cricks Tweed is a Mitsubishi, Subaru, Renault, SsangYong and JAC dealership that sells around 35 used cars per month through our dedicated used car department. (We also sell around 65 new cars/month - so around 100 total month)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced used car operator to join our team at Cricks Tweed, and to share the responsibility for the used car department results. The successful candidate will be a result’s driven professional, who have an exceptional work ethic and a strong customer and stock management focus. 

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Self-motivated and financially driven/motivated.
  • Strong customer service and selling and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of used car sales, appraisals, inventory management and reconditioning.
  • The ability to demonstrate strong results in current and previous roles.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in both a face-to-face and phone environment.
  • Process and procedure driven, with attention to detail, especially when it comes to appraising and evaluating cars.
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with both internal and external customers.
  • Confident computer skills.
  • The ability to sell and delivery 15+ cars per month and to generate positive customer satisfaction scores / reviews from those customers.
  • Era and Autogate/Carsales experience will be highly regarded, but not essential.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving sales volume (delivery) targets and KPI’s in relation to the sale of used cars as well as the associated add-ons like finance introductions, trade ins, warranties, aftermarket products etc. 
  • Assisting the sales team with contact and follow up of all enquiries / leads, along with deal negotiation and closing sales when required. 
  • Providing outstanding customer service to enhance the buying experience for all our customers.
  • Accurate and detailed used vehicle appraisals using the Eval Expert system.
  • Ensuring the vehicle display yard is well presented at all times and that the cars have all the associated forms and information displayed.
  • Negotiating for and purchasing vehicles from the general public or customers as and when required.
  • Listing used vehicle stock online and maintaining accurate listings and prices to maximize sales and gross profit opportunities.
