Mikey Mayz, (born May 2 1991, Washington, USA) emerged into the music scene with a fresh and organic blend of Neo-Soul, R&B and Hip Hop. Modelling himself on the likes of D’Angelo, Musiq Soulchild, Miguel, and Maxwell, Mayz’s influences didn’t only show through his vocal style – His writing ability, far beyond his years, not only reflected his romantic nature, but expressed a positive perspective on life. In 2012, Mayz was recruited to Triple Black Diamond, managed by Savalas Halloway (former Vice President of Marketing and Promotion at Warner Bros. and Interscope Records). This put Mayz in the studio with the likes of vocal producer Dave Young (Mary J Blige, Letoya Luckett), Ryan Toby (Sister Act 2), even rubbing shoulders with pop legend, Justin Timberlake. Very much on the rise, Mikey Mayz continues to engage his fans with undenying flare, featuring on Sid Diamond’s “King Or Queen” (2014 #1 spotify viral charts) and working on his debut album set for release, late 2015.
