Brooke Duff

Pint-sized 21 year old Brooke has been singing since the age of ten through her Church but it wasn’t until she crossed the ditch for five years that her talents were recognised. While she was singing at Melbourne’s Beaumaris Theatre with a school production she caught the ears of a music director and was cast to play the lead role in ‘Patsi’ and the role of Wendy in ‘Peter Pan’. At the same time, she was selected as one of 50 youth singers from around Australia to form the Australian Youth Choir in 2003.

She was brought to the attention of Illegal via mutual friends in late 2009 and Head of A&R, Mark Arona, opted for a long-term strategic approach to her career development.

In the last 18 months she has been working with the Illegal Musik team building her music catalogue and industry experience. She has been fortunate to feature and collaborate on tracks with the Illegal Banditz and K.One. Add to this countless live performances around the country, with her biggest performance as part of the ‘Band Together’ concert for Christchurch in front of 140,000 Cantabarians. This long-term approach has paid off in the development of a mature and rounded performer and entertainer.

In 2012 Brooke looks to stamp her mark on the world of music with her debut release ‘Till The End’.
