A rare opportunity is now available for a Senior Service Advisor to join the team at  Dubbo Automotive . You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers. 

If you are an experienced Service Advisor  looking for a change of pace, this role is ideal for you! This is your opportunity to take the next step in your automotive career and be financially rewarded for your contributions!
 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and serving customers for the service department. 
  • Advising customers on vehicle updates regarding repairs or servicing. 
  • Follow manufacturer and dealership warranty policies effectively and efficiently. 
  • Planning, directing, monitoring and controlling various activities of the Service department, under the guidance of the Service Manager.
  • Coordinating daily service appointments.
  • Accountability to meet individual and team targets.
  • Managing customer expectations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved on a daily basis through excellent customer service.
  • Next day appointment preparation.
  • Effectively booking customers vehicle services in via email, phone or face-to-face.
  • Preparing Repair Order and Job Sheets in preparation of customer requests to be executed through the workshop. 
  • Promptly invoicing customers.
  • Effectively address customer concerns.

Specific Skills required:

  • Must be able to consistently create a memorable customer experience.
  • The ability to explain the value of vehicle services and repairs.
  • The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • A genuine care for external, and internal customers.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong time management.
  • Previous experience using Era Power DMS (highly regarded).
  • Previous experience using Xtime booking system (highly regarded).
  • Volkswagen brand experience (highly regarded).
  • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders.
  • Current drivers licence is mandatory.

Essential Criteria:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
  • A passion for the automotive industry and the brand.
  • The ability to logically solve a problem.
  • Strong and professional attention to detail and communication skills.
  • High level of personal presentation is a must.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to champion the effective and accurate use of dealership DMS (EraPower).
  • Commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
