Job DescriptionJob Description Welder/Fabricator – Full-Time Position: Welder/Fabricator Location: Minto, ND Schedule: Full-Time Pay: $18–$22/hr (based on experience) Are you a skilled welder/fabricator with a knack for problem-solving and hands-on trailer maintenance? Join our team in Minto, ND , where your mechanical aptitude and fabrication expertise will keep our equipment running strong. What You’ll Do: Perform repairs and maintenance on trailers, including: Electrical wiring Airbrake systems Hydraulic systems Live bottom belted chains Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer issues Weld and fabricate trailer parts using MIG, stick welding, plasma cutting , and acetylene torch Repair or replace damaged/worn trailer components Maintain accurate records of work performed Climb trailers/ladders and work at heights or in tight spaces Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times What We’re Looking For: Self-motivated , dependable, and efficient team player Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems Experience with welding machines and fabrication tools Ability to work in extreme weather conditions Physical ability to: Lift up to 75 lbs. regularly Kneel, bend, crawl, and work overhead for extended periods Strong communication skills and attention to detail Requirements: High school diploma or GED (vocational/technical training ) Valid driver’s license Must pass a drug screening HireQuest Dakotas is more than a staffing solution; we position ourselves as strategic partners in our clients' growth, connecting them with the right workforce and fostering shared success.
