About Your New Role Undertaking general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology Performing minor procedures when required Caring, handling and cleaning all animalsMaintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipmentReception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for a person who is proudly professional and passionate about nursing, maintaining clinical standards, driving improvement, fear free/stress free handling and making sure that every animal who crosses our doorstep gets the best possible standard of care! Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with minimum of 2 years of experienceAn extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing proceduresExcellent animal handling skillsA calm and friendly presenceGreat communication and customer service skillsFlexible and adaptable within a team environmentKnowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential No day will be the same, but you will always have a supportive team around you and fantastic clients and pets walking through the door.
