Job Description UI Developer – React.js, Node.js & PostgreSQL About the client: Our client is a global consultancy delivering modern web applications and digital experiences across enterprise platforms. This role supports the development of responsive, scalable front-end and back-end solutions for a high-impact project. About the role: We are seeking a UI Developer with strong experience in React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. You’ll be responsible for building user-friendly interfaces, developing RESTful APIs, and collaborating with designers and developers to deliver robust web applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive front-end applications using React.js. Build and manage RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express (Node-RED optional). Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability. Implement server-side logic and integrate third-party services. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver visually appealing interfaces. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot and debug applications across devices and platforms. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Required Experience: Proven experience with React.js and Node.js development. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Experience with PostgreSQL database design and optimisation. Familiarity with server-side logic and third-party service integration. Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams. What’s on offer? This is a 10-month contract role based in Melbourne , commencing as soon as available .
