Duties and tasks: Grit blasting and grinding for surface prep Prepare steel and concrete surfaces for rubber and coating application Apply a range of systems: soft and hard rubber, polyurea, polyurethane, and composite systems Prime and apply adhesives according to manufacturer/client specifications Line and coat vessels including chutes, beams, pipes, valves, and tanks Perform repairs, maintenance, and replacements of lined surfaces Conduct quality control checks and document work on job cards and QC forms Use knives and hand tools to hook, skive, and cut rubber of varying thicknesses Maintain tools and equipment, ensure housekeeping at job fronts Identify areas for process improvements and maintain a proactive safety focus Job requirements: Previous experience in rubber lining - Highly Regarded Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Current Driver’s Licence High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging - Highly Regarded) Confined Spaces & Working at Heights tickets Gas Test Atmospheres ticket What we’re looking for: Positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented mindset Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail and safety-first approach Perks and benefits: Monday - Friday role Employee Assistance Program Supportive crews and team culture.
