About the Role

We're looking for a Workshop Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work and solving problems. This full-time, workshop-based role involves servicing and repairing a wide range of carpet cleaning and restoration equipment. If you're mechanically minded, enjoy tinkering, and take pride in your workmanship, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Service, repair, and maintain carpet cleaning machines, dehumidifiers, air movers, and related equipment
• Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical components
• Assemble and test equipment before dispatch
• Accurately record repair and maintenance work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment
• Work closely with customers to ensure they get the most from their equipment

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a workshop, technician, or repair role
• Ability to interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Good time management and attention to detail
• A team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new equipment and technologies
• Must have Australian Working rights!

Bonus points if you have:

• A Refrigerant Handling Licence — highly regarded but not essential
