Description A strategic imperative for ESV in 2025 and 2026 is to grow our Corporate and International Tax practice and our offering to clients We are looking for seasoned corporate tax manager to specialise in providing taxation advisory services to multinational groups, privately owned enterprises and high-net-worth family groups. The primary areas of focus are tax structuring, tax due diligence, transaction implementation and tax compliance services. Key responsibilities Provision of comprehensive tax compliance services to our multinational groups, including a number of significant global entities; Provision of tax advisory services, including advice on Australian tax laws, strategic tax planning and tax structuring for multinational groups and privately owned enterprises; Working with our Audit and Assurance team to review income tax provision calculations; Acting as a key point of contact for clients, managing the delivery of tax services and building strong client relationships through effective communication and engagement. Managing multiple engagements and deliverables, including communicating with junior staff members to manage their workflow; Continuing to develop your tax technical skillset and ability to solve problems; Effectively training, delegating and supporting junior staff members from a tax technical and commercial perspective; Day to Day you will be responsible for: Managing your own portfolio of clients WIP management Working directly with clients Assisting Partners with the preparation of tax advice Mentor junior members of the team Skills And Experiences 6 experience in a professional accounting practice in a Business Advisor / Tax role Completed your CA or CPA (or equivalent) Understand current tax legislation, principles and reporting requirements Strong tax technical, problem-solving and analytical skills Clear communication style - you’ll chat to colleagues and clients via email, telephone, Teams and face to face Desire to learn and to maintain technical knowledge. Ability to build long-lasting client relationships Experience with working to budgets, meeting productivity targets and an ability to train and mentor junior team members Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and strong stakeholder management A self-starter who can manage autonomous work as well as sharing ideas to drive team culture and success What we promise to provide Competitive salary Hybrid work environment Extensive internal and external learning opportunities to support your development.
