As they scale their engineering team, they’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead with empathy, ownership, and deep technical expertise. This is a rare opportunity to help build something from the ground up while shaping the product, platform, and team in meaningful ways. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who loves mentoring engineers, driving complex technical projects, and operating at both architectural and implementation levels. You'll work closely with a small, high-caliber team of builders and creatives to deliver fast, scalable, and delightful consumer-first products. What You’ll Do Lead by Example: Own end-to-end technical delivery—scoping work, identifying risks, and ensuring smooth execution. Mentor & Empower Engineers: Create clarity, encourage autonomy, and raise the technical bar across the team. Architect for Scale & Speed: Guide decisions on web infrastructure and architecture to ensure performance and adaptability. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product, design, and marketing to transform bold ideas into lovable digital experiences. Drive Engineering Culture: Cultivate a culture of empathy, accountability, and high-velocity iteration. Balance Craft & Execution: Know when to push for better and when to ship fast—pragmatism over perfection. Embrace Learning & Innovation: Stay curious, experiment, and explore emerging tech (like LLMs and AI).
