The Blues Train have a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a flexible, fast-paced and friendly team environment. You’ll be working alongside our current team and 3rd party digital marketing company to create fun, vibrant and on brand content for our digital marketing campaigns, social media platforms and general marketing materials. Having prior experience in managing social media and the creation of digital content is crucial . You will play a vital role in developing compelling and innovative content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand's voice, story and image. You will work closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Team to understand our brand goals and audience preferences, using these insights to create content that is not only engaging but also contributes to our brand's growth and development. Key role responsibilities include: Developing creative concepts for digital marketing platforms that tell a brand story and connect with the target audiences Plan and curate engaging on brand social media posts and reels Creating stills, gifs and video content Write compelling, engaging and persuasive copy / blogs Scheduling of social media content Nurture and develop our social media community with engagement Coordinating, engaging and scheduling influencers to experience and collaborate with The Blues Train Implementing strategies for growth of social media platforms Supporting weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and insights at team meetings Contribute to marketing activities as required including digital campaigns, photoshoots, videography and corporate functions & events Working hours: Part-time position 2 days/week in the Queenscliff office - Tuesday & one other day of choice 1 day/week content creation on site during event season at Queenscliff (October to May, Saturdays, not all weeks required) Key personal requirements include the following: An understanding of social media and eager interest to learn about its role in our marketing campaigns Design skills using content creation software like Canva etc Copywriting skills Marketing degree and/ or 1 year experience in a similar position Experience creating content is a must Excellent communication and time management skills A creative flair and ability to think outside the box Awareness of marketing guidelines in the hospitality and tourism industries Exceptional project management capabilities About You: Motivated and eager to learn Be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment A can-do attitude and happy to help where needed Apply now by sending your current resume and a cover letter telling us why you’d like to be part of our team, and how you meet our key criteria points.
