We have a rare opportunity for a full-time permanent Site Manager to lead our Belmore Supported Independent Living (SIL) service. Proven leadership experience in the disability sector is essential. On-site role - 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Seeking someone proficient in Auslan (Sign language) Must have full-time Australian working rights. Remuneration is based on a Level 4 - Scope Enterprise Agreement Award Reporting to the Cluster Manager, your primary focus will be to empower Support Workers in this home, champion efficient processes, and foster a strong culture of risk management while ensuring our clients have a safe, supportive environment to achieve their independent living goals. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, who has proven to be reliable, dedicated and who leads with care and confidence while building strong relationships with numerous stakeholders, teams, and families. Responsibilities: Guide and support clients and mentor Support Workers, highlighting the value of consistency & professional boundaries. Promote a person-centered, active support approach, giving our clients choice & control over their lives. Oversee the effective management and daily operations of SIL accommodation services. The role requires two billable on-the-floor shifts each week Foster a positive environment and maintain an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued & safe. Assist in the development and implementation of NDIS plans, ensuring clients have a voice and actively supporting their independence, hobbies, and interests. Address performance management and conflict resolution as needed. Value reflective practice, applying it in planning, reviewing supports, and future learning Requirements: Qualification (minimum Cert 4 equivalent) in the Social Services or relevant domain for instance, Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental health, and Community Services. Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards e.g. NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the National Standards for Disability Services. NSW Drivers License | Current First Aid and CPR certification | NDISWC and WWCC. Who is Scope?
