The Tax team is a tight-knit, high-performing group with a global remit, the team is responsible for managing tax compliance, reporting, and advisory across multiple jurisdictions. What Youll Be Doing The Senior Tax Manager plays a critical role in managing the group global tax compliance, reporting, and advisory functions. You will ensure the group meets obligations across domestic and international jurisdictions while maintaining strong governance and risk controls. The role covers the delivery of tax compliance in Australia, maintaining oversight of global filings, and ensuring consistency with our tax governance framework. The key success factor is your broad experience across Australian tax compliance, strategic tax advisory, governance and transaction support. Oversee timely and accurate delivery of corporate income tax, GST/BAS, FBT, and other statutory Australian compliance obligations, and oversee international corporate tax filings. Ensure timely and accurate management and statutory tax calculations and reporting. Monitor legislative changes globally and optimise the timely provision of tax insights to support decision making and risk mitigation. Support external audits and liaise with tax authorities as required. Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and country-by-country reporting (CbCR). Deliver ongoing efficiency gains from automation and/or system improvements. Assist in evaluating tax implications of M&A, financing, and cross-border operations. Provide M&A/transaction support. Qualifications What Were Looking For Degree-qualified and CA/CPA, Tax Institute membership beneficial. Strong technical Australian tax experience and broad based exposure to transfer pricing and international tax issues. Background in a multinational corporate group or strong broad based experience in professional services with strong commercial acumen (in-house role considered). An ability to commercially visualise how tax affects the entire business, and strong communication skills to drive governance within the global business. Experience with tax technology (One Source, TRCS) and ERP systems is advantageous. The right attitude ontinuous improvement mindset, passion for automation and utilising AI, the ability to alternate between detail and the big picture, and a willingness to deliver outcomes.
