We’re looking for a very capable Senior Station Hand to become part of a beef cattle operation on King Island, Tasmania. This is a permanent position suited to someone who already has strong skills in cattle work and property maintenance, and is keen to settle into life in this rewarding location. About the Role This is hands-on station work, where you’ll be involved in: Mustering with quad bikes Handling cattle in the yards and completing animal health treatments Supporting herd management across breeders, progeny and bulls Maintaining fences, water, and general station infrastructure Pitching in as part of a team while also working independently when required What We’re Looking For Proven background in the Australian beef industry, ideally at Senior Station Hand level Confidence and skill in both mustering and yard work Practical skills in station upkeep including fencing, repairs, and general maintenance Someone prepared to commit to a permanent role and contribute to the community What’s on Offer Competitive pay package, reflecting your experience Accommodation: shared housing for singles or separate homes for families Annual return flights to mainland Australia for you and your family (to be discussed) Access to local facilities including primary school and essential services Please Note This is a permanent position, not open to Working Holiday Visa holders No sponsorship is available for overseas applicants If you’re ready to bring your skills to King Island and want a stable, full-time role in the cattle industry, we’d like to hear from you.
