CSO Group is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst & Engineer with a strong foundation in networking - firewalls, VPNs, Cisco and consulting skills to work directly with clients to solve complex security challenges. This is a role suited to a networking professional who can apply their expertise within the scope of security tools like Netskope and CrowdStrike. You will be responsible for helping clients improve their security posture by delivering tailored solutions that draw on your background in networking and apply it to modern security platforms. The role involves consulting with clients, implementing secure network and cloud architectures, and supporting best practices across governance, compliance, and threat mitigation. Who is CSO? The role You will be joining a team that partners with some of the biggest names in the industry, delivering impactful work that shapes the future of cybersecurity. Key Accountabilities: Conduct security assessments, gap analyses, and risk management activities. Develop and implement security solutions aligned with industry best practices. Provide expert guidance on governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, Essential Eight). Assist clients in developing security policies, procedures, and security awareness training. Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and align security strategies accordingly. Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver high-quality security outcomes. Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies to provide proactive security recommendations. Key Measurables: Successful delivery of security solutions and risk mitigation strategies. Client satisfaction and engagement in cyber security initiatives. Compliance with regulatory and industry security frameworks. Contribution to the continuous improvement of security processes and methodologies. Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Required Skills and Attributes: Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and best practices. Experience in conducting security risk assessments and audits. Ability to translate technical security concepts into business-friendly language. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Qualifications and Training: At least one or more from the following: Netskope: Certified Cloud Security Integrator or Certified Cloud Security Architect (previously NSK-200 & NSK-300 respectively) Crowdstrike: Certified Falcon Responder (CCFR) or Certified Falcon Hunter (CCFH). Certified Identity Specialist (CCIS) will also be favourable. Networking related certifications e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCDE Why Join CSO?
