Due to continued growth, Ferrycarrig have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This position will be based in our Head Office in Botany, Sydney with the requirement for site visits as and when required to meet project needs. We are a multi-disciplined contractor with the in-house resources and the capabilities to deliver all aspects of our projects. We own and operate a large fleet of plant and equipment and employ a large, diverse workforce that has extensive experience delivering large and complex utilities and civil infrastructure projects. Ferrycarrig has made a significant contribution to some of Sydney's largest and most significant infrastructure projects delivered in recent years, including Sydney Light Rail, Parramatta Light Rail, Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport, and the New Sydney Fish Markets. What You Will Be Doing Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project. Evaluate and negotiate contractual claims with sub-contractors and assist project managers in the procurement of contracts; andSuccessfully coordinate efficient delivery in the management of contract documentation. Responsibility for interface Client Commercial/Contract Team. Project Procurement including Sub-contractors. Conduct cost and risk analysis. Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and /or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies. Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors. Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
