The Enterprise Transformation and Portfolio Management Office (ETPMO) is part of the AEC's National Office and sits within the Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Division as part of the Enterprise Transformation Branch. The Division is responsible for leading and supporting the AEC's transformation and includes Indigo program management and product design, enterprise transformation and investment portfolio strategy and delivery oversight, enterprise change management, and data and information management. The key duties of the position include The Senior Project Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Assistant Director and Director of ETPMO by uniting and leading AEC staff to achieve strategic and transformation objectives. This will be accomplished through clear communication of aspirations and strategy, enhancing investment contributions via change initiatives, providing oversight and support for transformation projects, adopting adaptive strategies, and establishing enterprise-level standards. In this role, you will work to further mature the AEC's Transformation Strategy, progress reporting, and support the AEC's Investment Prioritisation processes. You will have a well-developed capability to link the strategic outcomes to operational requirements and be comfortable engaging with leaders at all levels and in all areas of the AEC. To excel you'll have: Strong verbal and written communication skills : Experience in providing sound, accurate, and timely advice, analysis, and reporting to facilitate decision-making by senior managers and committees. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship skills : Demonstrated commitment to genuine collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation, including leading discussions, facilitating workshops, and negotiating with stakeholders. Proven ability to manage pressure and ambiguity : Maintain a positive and calm manner, with a focus on results and strong organisational skills, including managing competing priorities and delivering quality results within deadlines. Proven ability and commitment to support the leadership team and stakeholders : Provide considered, evidence-based advice and manage up effectively. Autonomous work ethic and team collaboration : Demonstrated ability to work independently and a strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team to achieve positive results and support the AEC's strategic direction.
