As a Senior Project Controller , you’ll bring deep expertise and a strong sense of purpose to support and elevate complex infrastructure projects across our portfolio. This role is NSW based . The project - spread between Lithgow, Mudgee and Muswellbrook - is part of a leading power project in NSW and essential to the energy transition of the state. Whilst we support working from home as a standard, flexibility is expected with regular travel to the various project work fronts. This is a role for someone who thrives in complexity, values precision, and leads through connection. You’ll mentor with confidence, create space for others to grow, and help shape the systems that support successful delivery—on time, on budget, and with care. What you’ll do In this pivotal role, you will: Take ownership of time and cost control on high-value electrical power projects, ensuring systems are established and maintained with integrity and consistency. Deliver dependable and insightful project controls services—from detailed scheduling and cost tracking to intuitive system oversight and reporting. Build strong collaborative relationships, guiding project teams through governance, risk management, and lessons learned. Use your voice to bring practical solutions forward, championing continuous improvement that enhances both project outcomes and team experience. What you bring You’re technically grounded, commercially astute, and emotionally intelligent. You lead with clarity and communicate with confidence, knowing when to challenge and when to listen. Core knowledge and skills: Strong foundation in engineering, construction, or project management Deep understanding of time management principles, project controls, and contract administration Proficiency with planning tools like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project Confident using data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) and cost control systems (e.g., Excel, SAP) Curious and adaptive, with a continuous improvement mindset Experience that sets you apart: Site experience in HV substations or transmission lines construction Demonstrated success managing time and cost across complex projects/portfolios A collaborative approach that inspires trust and drives performance Hands-on experience in infrastructure, energy, power, or gas transmission projects High-level commercial acumen and the ability to influence outcomes with integrity Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills.
