We are looking for a Senior Performance Insights Partner to drive data-led decision-making and performance improvement across our Business Services Centre. This role is a unique opportunity to influence executive-level strategy, uplift reporting maturity, and champion a data-driven culture. About the Role As the Senior Performance Insights Partner, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across the business, using data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities. You'll deliver high-quality analysis, design executive-level reports, and support key decisions through compelling data storytelling. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about using insights to improve performance outcomes across shared services, finance, and people functions. You'll also contribute to governance, uplift data literacy, and enhance reporting processes for lasting impact. About You You are not just a data expert; you are a business partner. You know how to ask the right questions, uncover meaningful patterns, and communicate your findings in ways that influence decision-making. You’re a confident communicator, a natural problem solver, and someone who builds strong relationships with ease. You bring a strong mix of analytical rigor, business acumen, and the curiosity to keep learning and improving. You’re comfortable working across complex, matrixed environments and know how to balance detail with big-picture thinking. Experience 7 years’ experience in analytics, business intelligence, or performance reporting Proven success in translating data into strategic insights for executive stakeholders Experience working in complex or service delivery environments (e.g., shared services or managed services) Familiarity with building dashboards and performance reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link data insights to business drivers and strategic goals Exposure to governance frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies (desirable) Skills & Knowledge Strong commercial and business acumen Deep understanding of KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, both written and verbal High-level stakeholder engagement and consulting capability Strong attention to detail with an ability to simplify the complex Comfortable with ambiguity and able to deliver under tight deadlines Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field (required) Certifications in analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx) are highly regarded Core Competencies Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect insights to big-picture goals Influencing Skills: Confidently present findings and drive data-led conversations Collaboration: Work across functions and build lasting stakeholder partnerships Innovation: Constantly look for ways to improve reporting and insight delivery Integrity: Uphold data governance and ensure accuracy and trustworthiness Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Benefits of working with Downer Work with an ASX listed company, working with market leaders.
