The Opportunity As a Senior Environmental Team Leader, you will provide in-field leadership to deliver high-quality environmental and land management works. You will lead and coordinate daily tasks, mentor team members, and ensure safe, efficient, and effective delivery of services in collaboration with clients across bushland reserves, parks, waterways, and other natural areas. Key responsibilities include: Lead and work alongside field teams to implement bushland, parkland and waterway management activities. Coordinate resources, equipment and materials to deliver safe and efficient works. Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to field team members and supporting performance and development activities. Support project planning, estimating, client reporting and onsite quantification. Apply safety leadership and maintain a strong culture of compliance and wellbeing. Foster positive and professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the community. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Significant demonstrated experience leading field teams in environmental, conservation or land management works. Practical expertise in revegetation, weed control (manual and chemical) and the safe use of tools, plant and equipment. Strong knowledge of indigenous and exotic vegetation in Victoria. Well-developed communication and people leadership skills. Ability to manage safety, environmental and technical risks in the field. Relevant qualifications (TAFE/University in Environmental Science, Conservation and Land Management, Agriculture, or equivalent experience). Required certifications include: ChemCert/ACUP, White Card, First Aid Level 2, Chainsaw Level 1, and a current manual driver's licence.
