Join us and be part of something transformative! The Business Analyst role reports to the Integration Lead, within the TAWFA mission. In this role, the BA will be a pivotal role in driving business outcomes of initiatives through insightful analysis, holistic thinking, and effective collaboration with cross function teams. The role will work collaboratively with solution design, business, and technical teams, to enable solutions that meet business requirements and outcomes. They will ensure that current and future state analysis informs impacts to systems, processes and people and help drive change. They will need to develop knowledge of Vocus Products, Processes and Systems and contribute to the knowledge development in the BA function. The role will require engagement and relationship building with several stakeholder groups within Vocus, from both technology and business teams. Within each Mission the Business Analyst will take direction from the Senior internal stakeholders they are working with and also the Integration Lead they report to on initiative deliverables delivering high quality outcomes in a timely manner aligned to the BA framework. What you’ll be doing day-to-day The key responsibilities of the role are listed below. These may change in response to your personal growth and business demands. Work with business representatives, owners & key stakeholders to assess business context, objectives and needs and deliver business discovery outputs. (e.g. business context analysis, current and future state analysis, gap analysis etc.). Provide sufficient inputs from analysis to inform decision making on the prioritization of initiatives. With support from Senior management, develop the BA approach and identify the BA tools, techniques, and deliverables that will be required for an assigned initiative. Work with business representatives to elicit, document, and validate a common understanding of detailed business requirements. Work within the existing stakeholder engagement approach to ensure right expectation setting with stakeholders. Work with the project, change management where applicable. Perform current and future state analysis to identify gaps, inform solution design and help develop solutions that meet business needs and/or improve business processes. (Business Process Design) Ensure that impacts to technical and business operations due to change are analysed, understood, and articulated, risks are assessed and raised with project management. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholder groups, serving as a liaison point to ensure clear understanding of business needs, objectives, and requirements and faithful representation of these when collaborating with other teams. Utilize standard BA tools and techniques (including the BA framework) to apply to BA deliverables and representation and documentation of BA outputs. Utilize analytical tools and techniques to extract actionable insights from data sets. May also generate reports and dashboards to support decision making processes. Enable user acceptance testing planning, coordination, and support testing activities. Work with change management/project management to enable technical and business operational handover activities. Develop user guides, work instructions, process documentation as required. Support training content development where required. What you’ll bring to this role Solid experience (min 5 years’ experience) as a Business Analyst/Snr BA in projects/programs is essential. Demonstrated understanding of both business and technical requirements in projects/programs, providing solutions effectively. Ability to execute responsibilities of the role proactively. Hands on experience developing visual representations, at various levels of detail for varied audiences. Experience working with tools like Lucid or Visio and process mapping techniques such as BPMN, context diagrams, customer journey mappings and other similar. Telecommunications sector experience desirable (2 years). Exposure to and Experience with Telecom value chain processes (Sales, Delivery, Assurance, Billing) desirable. Experience working with platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow or similar CRM, Billing, Digital platforms desirable. Ability to facilitate workshops involving a variety of Business and IT stakeholders. Ability to confidently communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at various levels of the business and drive positive outcomes. Excellent communication (verbal and written), documentation, and time management skills. Ability to effectively follow up and track information. Proven ability to manage and prioritise conflicting demands. Ability to learn and adapt and operate with an Agile BA mindset and Agile BA tools and techniques. Experience working with Agile BA tools and techniques (desirable) Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile. Ability and flexibility to rapidly learn new methodologies and technologies. A proactive approach, showing initiative and pragmatism. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, sharing ideas and encouraging others to participate.
