The opportunity We have a unique opportunity for a dynamic candidate to join our highly regarded Sydney Banking & Finance team, working predominantly with Partners Chris Fanning, Abi Uthayachandran, and Annie Tseung. You will be a part of a sub team of lawyers and paralegals working on a diverse range of matters including corporate, health, real estate, and project development finance transactions across a number of asset classes. This sub team has a strong lender-client base, regularly advising major Australian banks, and other blue chip clients, as well as a growing list of private credit providers. It is a fast growing, relationship focussed team that is passionate about delivering exceptional value and consistent high quality service to clients. As a Senior Associate, you will have end-to-end responsibility for transactions and be capable of operating autonomously. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment but is also confident working independently. You will also play a key leadership role within the team mentoring junior lawyers, guiding their development and helping maintain the team's strong sense of unity and purpose. Ideally, you will be a natural leader who is passionate about developing others and help drive both client outcomes and team success. You will be part of a close, supportive team that will be focussed on bringing the very best out of you. The Partners do not 'ring fence' clients - you will be supported and encouraged to build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, preparing you for long term success in your career.
