About The Role We’re looking for a bright and motivated Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone transitioning from drafting, design, or construction who’s ready to dive into the retail side of building. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Operations teams to prepare accurate retail cost estimates, tender documents, and variations, all while learning the ins and outs of pricing, margins, and supplier relationships. What You’ll Be Doing Prepare tender documents and variations with clear, accurate descriptionsProduce retail cost estimates with approved margins and markupsProvide fixed site costs and support sales queries with timely, accurate responsesLiaise with internal stakeholders including drafters, engineers, builders, and suppliersRead and interpret architectural and engineering plansAnalyse documentation to estimate materials and labourAssess design changes and their impact on costContribute to business efficiencies and process improvements What You’ll Bring 2 years’ experience in the building industry, drafting, design, or construction background highly regardedStrong understanding of building terminology and construction processesAnalytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solvingExceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracyAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsConfident communicator with strong written and verbal skillsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamIntermediate computer skills (Excel, estimating software, etc.) Why Join Burbank?
