Job description: - Manage soft tissue injuries for clinic’s clients using an assortment of techniques. - Assess client’s condition and investigate sources of pain to utilise remedial massage techniques to assist in their recovery. - Create tailored and appropriate treatment plans for clients in accordance with their sources of pain and age. - Utilise an assortment of remedial massage techniques to assist in the management of pain such as sporting injuries, spinal injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. - Utilise remedial massage techniques such as lymphatic drainage techniques, trigger point therapy, cupping, relaxation techniques and deep tissue massage to assist in targeting clients’ pain. - Take detailed clinical notes from consultations and effectively record them in the Cliniko system. - Utilise clinical notes to effectively assess client’s injuries and assist with injury management. - Recommend exercises and stretches to assist clients in their recovery. - Ensure the clinic remains tidy and compliant with Occupational Health & Safety standards. Qualifications/Attributes: - Must hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification. - Must possess at least a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. - Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. - Must exhibit professionalism and client care. - Must have proficient understanding of body structure to provide safe and effective massages. Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
