An exciting opportunity is currently available for Senior Registrar or Registrar or Principal House Officer to join the Orthopaedics Department at Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities. The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility which has recently added a new emergency department and ICU unit, it has about 25,000 general admissions per year. The main hospital in central Queensland has a wide array of medical and allied health services, from Coronary Care, Intensive Care, Emergency and outpatients' departments as well as renal support services.
