Rehabilitation Services is a 43-bed unit with a consistently high occupancy rate. As a Registered Level 1 Nurse, we require individuals who are committed to playing an integral role within the multidisciplinary team and to their own professional development for the benefit of our patients. We offer a supportive and educational environment for Registered Nurses who wish to be involved in a holistic team approach with our patients and families. We will also support you in developing a wide range of clinical skills required to work in a rehabilitation unit, including leadership and ward management skills. Currently, we have full-time and part-time permanent positions available for Registered Nurses who are keen to learn and grow their careers. Key responsibilities A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery using highly developed interpersonal skills and professionalism Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision across a continuum of care A strong commitment to customer service and risk management Commitment to ongoing learning and quality improvement Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation What you bring Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months’ experience AHPRA Registration Recent clinical experience in an acute care, aged care or hospital setting Ability to work unsupervised, efficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation For further information please contact Marcella Jenkinson at marcella.jenkinson@calvarycare.org.au Why work for Calvary?
