The opportunity Our Murray Vale Shalem Facility in Lavington is seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting the community and making a positive impact in residents' lives. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a beautiful, natural setting. This is a part-time overnight shift opportunity. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents. Provide high-quality, evidence-based, resident-focused care that meets the needs of care recipients. Assist residents in leading an active and meaningful life with as much independence as possible. Serve as a role model for staff, offering guidance and support on clinical best practices for resident care. Report to the Facility Manager and take on specific projects as assigned by the Facility Manager, Clinical Manager, or Nurse Supervisor/Consultant. About you Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of 12 months’ post-registration experience. Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite (all applications). Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport. Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks in accordance with strict guidelines and attention to detail. Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities. Skilled in time, task, and priority management. Previous experience in Residential Aged Care is highly desirable. Familiarity with LeeCare, Medsig, and other relevant systems (desirable). Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
