This is a part time role for 24 hours per week on a contract basis for approximately 12 months. Based in our Support Office in Rhodes we provide a hybrid a working environment (2 x days in office and 1 x day WFH). The role would be able to work hours across 3 days a week (with 1 of those days being a Friday) or opportunity for shorter hours across 4-5 days a week. As the Property Accounts Coordinator, you will drive outcomes and ensure that Bunnings is meeting all financial obligations for its property portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. You will complete the end-to-end accounts process across a variety of properties, including tasks such as reconciling rental statements received by landlords and processing of outgoings that are due and payable by Bunnings on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. You will work with accounting deadlines to ensure that rent payments are approved and processed within the appropriate timelines. What’s involved: Management and reconciliation of Lease information Maintain databases Assist with Rent roll Stakeholder engagement both internally and externally (Stores and Property Team) Review, reconcile and validate invoices through the Account Invoice Processing system Query, reconcile and submit invoices for approval and payment across AUNZ Review and reconcile all statutory charges received from authorities across AU and NZ that will include by not limited to water, council and utility charges General administration tasks within the Property Accounts team Who we're looking for: You will bring strong problem-solving skills and a sharp attention to detail. You’ll be efficient in handling accounting or finance administration tasks and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will be key, as will your commitment to fostering a collaborative team culture. You’ll need: Demonstrated experience within administration, ideally across finance and accounts processes Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills is essential Good computer skills across programs such as Microsoft Office, coupled with the ability to learn new systems Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong skills across email and phone interactions Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with a customer focused approach The ability to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Ability to prioritise and organisation your work ensuring deadlines are met Ability to think analytically and use initiative to problem solve Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts would be highly regarded Invoice verification, and account reconciliation experience would be highly regarded You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
