The Opportunity:We’re looking for a Project Support Officer to join our Project Management Technical Capability Team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting important Defence projects. This is your chance to bring your administrative expertise, project coordination skills, and problem-solving mindset to a collaborative team that values initiative, innovation, and teamwork. In this role, you’ll work with a high level of autonomy, supporting a variety of projects, operational priorities, and capability improvements. This is a permanent, full time opportunity based in Adelaide. Key Responsibilities:Ensuring financial compliance (SOX) for monthly project reviews - accurate reporting, correct approvals, and clear documentation.Partnering with operational units to keep activities in line with compliance expectationsAdministering and developing our Project Management Capability SharePoint siteEstablishing and maintaining our Business Management SystemSupporting delivery of the PM Capability Change Management Plan and assisting with team prioritiesSpotting opportunities across units to improve project outcomesManaging documentation, version control, and Defence-standard filingCoordinating meetings, workshops, and reviews — from agendas to action trackingPreparing briefs, status updates, and dashboards to keep stakeholders informedMonitoring registers for risks, issues, actions, and decisionsAssisting project managers with planning and schedulingLiaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communicationSupporting Project Management Capability Enablement across KBR Australia Defence & Security SolutionsGrowing your own scheduling and risk management skills along the way Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills:Baseline security clearance (or ability to obtain)Previous Defence experience (preferred, not essential)Understanding of Defence project lifecycles and governance frameworksHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong SharePoint skillsExcellent organisational skills and keen attention to detailA collaborative attitude, alignment with our values, and plenty of positive energy About You:You’re someone who brings energy to everything you do.
