As we continue to expand and enhance our grounds, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to oversee the development of our memorial parks and green spaces. The Opportunity: In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our park development projects, from initial concept and design through to construction and handover. You will play a key part in shaping the future landscape of our memorial park, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while always maintaining the sensitivity and respect to our industry. Key Responsibilities: Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee all phases of park development projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closure. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (operations, grounds, sales), external consultants (architects, landscapers, engineers), contractors and suppliers. Scope & Planning: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Financial Management: Monitor and control project budgets, track expenditure, manage variations, and ensure financial accountability. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, maintaining meticulous project documentation and records. Team Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors and internal teams. Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager or recent graduate, ideally with a focus on land development, park development, or civil infrastructure projects. Exceptional organisational and time management skills Strong administrative capabilities and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of project documentation. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges. Understanding of WHS requirements in a construction and operational environment. Desirable Qualifications & Background: Relevant trade qualifications (landscaping, carpentry, civil construction) or a background in building/construction would be highly regarded. Formal qualifications in Project Management (Cert IV, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field).
