Job Summary: The Project Engineer - Subdivision supports the planning, design, and execution of land development and subdivision projects. This role involves coordinating with consultants, preparing technical documents, assisting with permitting and construction activities, and ensuring that engineering designs comply with regulatory and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and designing residential or commercial subdivision projects. Prepare or review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadworks. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, surveyors, and utility providers throughout the project lifecycle. Support the permitting process by preparing documentation and liaising with municipal and regulatory authorities. Assist in tracking project schedules, budgets, and milestones under the guidance of the Project Manager. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction aligns with approved plans and standards. Identify and report potential design or construction issues and assist in developing solutions. Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation as required. Ensure engineering activities comply with local zoning bylaws, subdivision regulations, and environmental standards. Support stakeholder communication and project updates as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in civil or land development engineering, preferably in subdivisions. Knowledge of subdivision regulations, permitting, and land development processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, and project management tools. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
