We are seeking suitably experienced individuals to join our Production Manufacturing leadership team in a newly created position as a Production Shift Leader – PM or Night Who are we? The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful individual will perform a “boots on the ground” role, primarily responsible for leading a team of multi-skilled operators across batching, filling and packing functions on assigned shift, ensuring the end-to-end manufacturing of finished goods on the production line. We have two opportunities available: Afternoon Shift 2pm – 10pm Night Shift 10pm – 6am About You Our ideal candidate is a natural born leader, who enjoys a fast-paced working environment and can think outside the box, along with demonstrated experience leading small front-line teams within an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably dairy or food manufacturing and possessing the following key skills and experience: Hold a Certificate III or higher in Food Processing (Dairy) Sound experience leading small group activities to drive continuous improvement Solid understanding and knowledge of HACCP & GMP standards Sound experience in training and development (upskilling) of people Strong PC skills and experience with packages such as microsoft office Experience in lean manufacturing techniques and recognised quality control tools Knowledge of Quality Systems and standards Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap and re-work Positive attitude, collaborative and can work well in a team environment Independent and autonomous self-starter Good understanding & strong commitment to Work Health & Safety and safe working, legislation and responsibilities Highly Desirable Completed a qualification in front line leadership or a related discipline Wicked Sister Perks We truly value every employee and strive to provide the best working environment possible, some of our key employee benefits include: Competitive remuneration package base salary of up to $110,000 superannuation opportunity to participate in an annual discretionary bonus program Paid Birthday & Wellness Leave each year Fresh fruit at work every week, quarterly site BBQs & barista style coffee (on site) Our people get Perkbox!
