Job summary: Flexible hours available 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role We’re looking for an Apprentice Chef (1st, 2nd or 3rd year) who wants hands-on experience in a woodfire pizza kitchen and broader Mediterranean-inspired menu. You’ll work closely with qualified chefs, learn traditional techniques, and grow your confidence across all kitchen stations. What You’ll Learn: Dough making, stretching, and woodfire pizza cooking Prep and execution of entrees, mains and also have your own dish weekly on our specials Working clean, safe, and fast in a commercial kitchen Ingredient handling, food safety, and stock rotation How to work as part of a high-performing kitchen team The heart behind hospitality – not just cooking, but serving We’re Looking For: A great attitude – we can train skills, but not attitude A genuine interest in food, people, and being part of a team Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn every day Kitchen experience is a bonus but not essential Must be eligible to enrol in a commercial cookery apprenticeship (or already enrolled) Why Choose Gather Round?
