About the Role As the Assistant Production Manager , you’ll work closely with the General Manager to coordinate daily operations, support production scheduling, manage materials and inventory, and ensure exceptional service to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their manufacturing career to develop key industry skills and grow into a leadership role. You will receive mentoring and training to work across the following: Production Coordination • Assist with scheduling production and machine allocation • Monitor and update job production orders and daily output records • Issue production and work instructions for factory operations • Coordinate dispatches with customers and logistics providers • Track and report on production data using MYOB AccountRight Purchasing & Inventory • Place purchase orders for raw materials, components, and packaging • Liaise with suppliers on stock availability and pricing • Control and reconcile inventory and stock take data Customer Support • Communicate with customers about orders, timelines, and quality • Generate invoices and maintain accurate MYOB records Team Collaboration • Work closely with the GM to support production, admin, and operational goals • Monitor material needs and resolve scheduling or order discrepancies What You’ll Bring • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential • Strong attention to detail and a proactive enquiring mindset • Good communication and coordination skills • Strong computer skills including Outlook and Excel • Willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment • Experience using MYOB or similar systems (preferred, not essential) Why Join Perroplas? • Longstanding Australian business with over 30 years of success • Friendly team and opportunity for mentoring and growth • Be part of delivering innovative solutions across multiple industries Applications If you are ready to build your career with a business that values innovation & quality, prides itself on providing exceptional customer service and building a strong team, then send your application in now
