Role This crucial role will oversee and integrate all aspects of horticultural production activities, encompassing nursery propagation, farming, laboratory support, and packhouse operations. This senior role is critical to ensuring consistent crop quality, optimising production efficiency, and meeting business targets across multiple sites. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily operations in nursery, farm, lab, and packhouse teams to ensure smooth production flow and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Develop and implement seasonal production plans, crop scheduling, and resource allocation to meet yield and quality targets. Manage and mentor diverse teams, including growers, lab technicians, and packhouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance. Monitor operational budgets and KPIs, driving efficiencies and cost control while maintaining product standards. Collaborate with agronomists, supply chain, and management to support strategic goals and resolve operational challenges. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and company policies. Requirements Business Management or a Degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related area Demonstrated experience (5 years preferred) managing large-scale horticultural or fresh produce operations. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams. Deep understanding of propagation, crop production, post-harvest processes, and laboratory support functions. Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Relevant qualifications in horticulture, agriculture, or related disciplines. Remuneration and Location This is a senior management role within the Company, with an appropriate remuneration package. Location is Caboolture, Queensland.
