Operations Manager – Hygiene Full Time | Thomastown | From $32.00 per hour, with additional weekly allowance Hours: Full-time 5 weekdays per week, from 7:00am to 3:00pm Location: Start and finish in Thomastown Pay: From $32.00 per hour, with additional weekly allowance Vehicle: Company van provided for use during business hours The Role We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to lead and support our Hygiene Services team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coordinate daily service run schedules, support a small team of Hygiene Technicians, and liaise with clients. Initially, two days per week, you will be on the road independently in a company van, following a service run schedule to maintain washroom hygiene products — such as refilling soap dispensers, replacing air fresheners, and exchanging sanitary units. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working on the road, takes pride in their work, and is confident supervising and guiding others. Your key responsibilities include: Coordinating service run schedules and managing daily workflow Building strong relationships with clients and upselling where appropriate Installing and replenishing hygiene products at client sites Monitoring inventory and managing stock control for the hygiene division Supporting, supervising, and developing a small team Managing equipment and fleet maintenance with internal teams Conducting site audits, inspections, and contributing to tenders Ensuring OH&S, environmental, and company standards are followed What You’ll Bring Experience in operations, logistics, or service delivery (experience in hygiene or cleaning services is a plus) Ability to supervise staff and contribute to a positive team environment Professional, strong communication and customer service skills Organised and proactive with good problem-solving abilities Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software A valid driver’s licence and willingness to be on the road two days per week About Us Borg Property Services is a 100% Australian-owned and market leading company with over 35 years of experience in commercial cleaning and hygiene services.
