We are seeking a highly skilled After-Hours Telehealth Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This flexible locum role allows you to work remotely while making a meaningful impact in aged care. About the Role As an After-Hours Nurse Practitioner, you will: Provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and management to aged care residents via telehealth. Address acute health issues, update care plans, and coordinate care with facility staff, GPs, and specialists. Issue e-scripts, order/review investigations, and make referrals to telehealth specialists when required. Conduct after-hours telehealth rounds and ensure timely documentation to support continuity of care. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our innovative after-hours model of care. Work Schedule Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Average 4 consultations per hour (case-dependent). Full administrative support provided. About You You are a confident, compassionate clinician who thrives in independent practice and embraces telehealth as a tool for impact. You will bring: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner . Advanced clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment relevant to aged care. Strong decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills. Proficiency with telehealth systems and electronic medical records. Professional indemnity insurance and your own laptop. Why Join Us?
