The Scheme Reforms and Transition Branch sits in the Scheme Transformation and Capability Division within Service Delivery. Our Branch support Frontline staff through significant Scheme reforms and is responsible for managing the Frontline teams transition to New Framework Planning. We support Service Delivery through periods of significant change through our six workstreams: Change, Coordination and Delivery PACE Platform Operations Practice, Process and Productivity Project Strategy and Governance New Framework Planning Initiative Lead New Framework Planning Initiative Testing The EL2 Project Director is accountable under broad direction to undertake work with a high level of complexity or sensitivity that delivers quality outcomes related to national and branch action plans, programs and project functions. The position will exercise a significant degree of independence and will use a high-level of decision-making and judgement. The role will be required to coordinate and assume responsibility for highly complex or sensitive projects and work program outcomes within the Service Delivery functions that have strategic or operational significance to the NDIA. The key duties of the position include The EL2 Project Director is responsible for initiating, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Where required, it will represent and negotiate on behalf of the NDIA to advance the NDIA's interests in cross-agency, inter-jurisdictional and other forums. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Organising and leading project discussions and workshops with business areas and delivery partners. Utilising data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse operational performance and perform root cause analysis. Setting strategic direction and priorities for the portfolio area in line with Agency priorities and national/branch action plans. Developing and delivering optimisation initiatives to support service improvement and performance in line with strategic objectives. Ensuring all optimisation activities consider opportunities to enhance the experiences for participants, providers, partners and agency staff using an integrated approach. Preparing and managing a range of written material including business cases, Senate Estimate submissions, Ministerial and Agency briefs, and other corporate documentation.
