About The Role Based in our Sydney office, the National Sales Operations Manager will primarily act as a conduit between internal teams and our on the road team. They will also be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring our team of Business Development Managers across Australia in order to maximise business activity and generate sales. The Day To Day Leading and developing a high performing Business Development Team to deliver excellence and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. Setting clear sales expectations through tracking performance and providing feedback, coaching, guidance, and updates to the wider sales team. Act as the conduit between the sales and marketing teams by attending all sales and marketing meetings, and between the sales and Groups team to increase conversion of Group bookings. Ensure that sales activities and messages are consistent through collaboration with the National and Global Account Managers to maximise reach and impact. Enhance trade engagement and event execution through overseeing the operational delivery of trade engagement initiatives with a focus on ROI. Preparation of the national sales targets, sales forecasts, and budgets in consultation with the Head of Commercial ANZ and the National and Global Account Managers. Drive operational excellence through the delivery of timely and accurate sales reporting, performance insights, drive commercial success, and support data driven decisions. Plan for and attend GFOB launches and sales & marketing conferences. About You Full and permanent working rights in Australia. Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales operation, commercial, marketing or sales enablement role in travel or tourism. Demonstrated success in leading, motivating, and developing high performing teams. Strong understanding of the retail distribution channels and trade partnerships with experience supporting the on-road sales team and retail engagement strategies. Advanced skills in sales reporting, budgeting, ROI analysis, and performance monitoring tools with the ability to interpret the data and recommend actions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate cross functionally and influence at all levels of the business.
