About the Role This newly created role represents an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding FMCG business with a strong Asian food’s portfolio. You’ll lead the emerging markets channel which includes Aldi, Costco, Food Service, Metcash, and Airline sectors. Reporting to senior leadership, your remit will span strategic planning, promotional execution, financial forecasting, and collaborative new product development. You'll work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and category teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead the go-to-market strategy to secure initial product listings with Aldi. Expand sales and product penetration within Costco by identifying opportunities for range expansion, leveraging promotional strategies, and presenting actionable insights through performance data and market trends. Identify and engage key food service partners including: QSRs, caterers, and distributors to drive channel growth. Deliver tailored menu solutions, foster distributor collaboration, and support channel-specific NPD initiatives. Strengthen relationships with Metcash banner groups and independent retailers. Lead the commercial strategy for entry into the airline channel. Collaborate with procurement, product development, and operations to secure listings, align onboard offerings, and meet logistical and regulatory requirements. Act as the main point of contact for key retailers on day-to-day matters including promotional planning, issue resolution, category development, and performance analysis Skills and Experience 3 years experience in FMCG sales, category, or business development roles. Proven success managing retail or food service accounts. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse channels. Experience with Aldi, Costco, Metcash, or airlines is highly regarded.
