Based at our Support Office in Malvern and reporting to the Planning Manager, this is a fantastic entry point for someone eager to break into the world of planning. You’ll be responsible for managing daily stock functions, ensuring the right stock levels are maintained across stores and the Distribution Centre to maximise sales. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to: Analysis and reporting of sales and stock performanceEnsure stock levels are maintained by monitoring and replenishing stock levels in our DC and stores for both indent and BSR/Replenishment linesManage the replenishment system at a style and size levelConduct monthly reviews of in store stock levels against DC stock levelsEnsure deliveries are within agreed time frames into storesReporting of any known stock shortages / surpluses upon deliveryManage timing, process & logistics of the stock take function for all stores and DCConduct periodic stock takes when required in retail stores and DCManage stock take variation reporting to balance book and count quantitiesAnalyse stock on hand reporting to determine which items need to be consolidated in accordance with company policyManage transfers, in transit reporting and investigate aged itemsCustomer and store queries To be successful in this role you will have: Experience working within a retail environmentFinance, accounting, commerce degree highly desirableHighly developed analytical and practical skills and a quick study in new systemsProficient to intermediate skills in ExcelWillingness to launch and streamline new and existing procedures and systemsAbility to communicate effectively both written and verbal to team members at all levels.Highly organised, detailed and focused approach to work and deadlinesAbility to think laterally on all issues and take a proactive approach to resolve themA positive and proactive 'can do' attitudeStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholdersExperience with Apparel 21 system (highly desirable) We provide: A competitive salary packageGenerous product allowanceFree onsite parking50% clothing discount off all of our brands (GAZMAN, Perri Cutten, Cable)The opportunity to build your career with a successful, established and trusted Australian brandFantastic work/life balanceA friendly, motivating and rewarding team environment, where achievements are recognisedA highly supportive management teamOpportunities to attend social events through the year About us Austin Group is an established Australian owned and family run fashion retailer and wholesaler that includes some of Australia’s most iconic menswear and womenswear brands.
