Description: About The Men's Shed Program Leader Role Lead the Men’s Shed Program at YourCH, guiding a passionate team of staff, volunteers, and students. Create a welcoming, dynamic space for participants to connect, engage, and thrive, while collaborating with the Social Support Team to enhance well-being and foster meaningful relationships. Reporting to the Social Support Program Coordinator, this is an ongoing, part-time role (0.8 FTE). Men's located in Reservoir. Your Passion and Commitment will see you: Lead and deliver diverse Social Support and Men’s Shed Programs, engaging with clients weekly across multiple sites while creating inclusive, consumer-driven activities, exercises, and outingsProvide day-to-day guidance and support to staff, volunteers, and students, fostering a collaborative team and ensuring high service standardsSupport clients to obtain their goals, whilst managing referrals, documentation and resources, assisting with meal planning, transport coordination and overseeing meal provisionsOversee and monitor workshop safety, program resources and suppliesBuild and maintain relationships with external partners ensuring seamless referrals and strengthening collaborative programs and initiatives To succeed in this role you will have: Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Cert IV in Lifestyle & LeisureTrade qualification or related experience (desirable)Current Victorian Driver's License (Light rigid desirable)Experience leading teams or supporting communitiesStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with a passion for creating inclusive, engaging environments For further information about this role, please refer to the position description.
