About the role elevenM Consulting Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced privacy and data governance advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Australia's leading brands and government, resolving digital risk challenges. You will provide strategic advisory services and practical support to help our clients navigate the complex landscape of data privacy, information management and responsible AI. This role is based in our Melbourne office, though candidates from other locations will be considered. What you'll be doing Advising clients on privacy, data and AI governance requirements and best practices Conducting privacy impact assessments and advising on mitigation strategies Developing and reviewing privacy policies, procedures and data handling controls Supporting the implementation of privacy and AI governance frameworks Providing training and awareness programs for clients on privacy and AI ethics Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, tailored solutions What we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience in privacy, data or AI governance advisory roles Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, such as the Privacy Act and GDPR Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions Proven track record of delivering high-quality advisory services to clients Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. law, technology, data science) Knowledge of AI ethics frameworks and responsible AI practices would be highly regarded What we offer At elevenM, we pride ourselves on our collaborative, supportive and flexible work environment.
