This is a Manager - Privacy Operations role with KPMG Australia based in Melbourne, VIC, AU KPMG Australia Role Seniority - mid level More about the Manager - Privacy Operations role at KPMG Australia Company Description As part of KPMG’s Technology & Information Risk Management team and reporting to the National Privacy Officer, the Manager - Privacy Operations delivers subject matter expertise on privacy risk management to KPMG, providing practical, timely and commercial advice and assessments to internal stakeholders. Job Description Key Accountabilities: Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) Maintaining PIA register and Record of Processing Activities Responding to data subject requests, complaints and privacy queries from internal stakeholders and the public Managing Privacy incidents consistent with KPMG’s privacy breach response plan, and maintaining KPMG’s privacy incident register Managing and compiling responses to internal and external auditors Ensuring compliance with internal privacy and risk management policies, procedures and directives Monitoring compliance with KPMG’s documented privacy obligations and the efficacy of control Providing bespoke privacy training to KPMG staff and overseeing and informing mandatory privacy training for all KPMG staff and privacy awareness week activities How are you Extraordinary: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned tasks Willingness to learn and develop within fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines and manage own workload Qualifications Operational privacy experience Strong time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
