About the Opportunity Reporting to the General Manager, our Maintenance Officer is responsible for delivering general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings, Homes and associated structures in accordance with the Home Maintenance Plan to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors. • Manage and undertake inspection & delivery of statutory, preventative & corrective maintenance of the facility • Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors • Ensure an aesthetic, compliant and safe working environment • Ensure maintenance and repairs of property including facilities including cleaning, painting, lighting maintenance, TV installations, hanging paintings, disposal of rubbish, checking and maintaining air conditioning, tiling, basic plumbing, furniture removal, and general repairs • Ensure planned maintenance of Home assets is executed in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and legislative requirements • Ensure all maintenance activity complies with relevant legislation, • Use preferred suppliers where relevant and ensure all works are conducted within budget and follow workflow procedures • Carry-out scheduled tasks within agreed timelines What We Can Offer Our culture is both supportive and collaborative where you can make your role your own.
