INFTA offers a range of national and international career paths and employment options, ranging from practicum places, scholarships to administrative staff, Forest Therapy Guide training mentors and lecturers as well as research and consultancy positions. Lecturers (m/f/d) To assist with the practical and theoretical training of INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides, we seek applications from suitable Lecturers (m/f/d). We are interested to hear from you if you possess the following formal qualifications and people skills: you are an INFTA-Certified and Accredited Forest Therapy Guide (or have a similar tertiary qualification – at least at the Masters level – in the area of education with a specialisation on health or STEM subjects) you have participated in, at least, two INFTA-Forest Therapy Introductions (or equivalent workshops) after your graduation as INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guide (or command equivalent professional experience) you have been teaching or lecturing for at least three years being able to address effectively heterogenous sets of students either in an academic or vocational setting you have outstanding reading and writing skills you are focussed, efficient, work in a structured way and possess good time-management skills you have adequate people skills, are reliable, approachable, conciliatory and open-minded you are a native English, German or Chinese speaker you command well-developed IT skills INFTA’s Lecturers are responsible for teaching different modules of the International Core Curriculum of Forest Therapy (see Kotte et al 2019 International Handbook of Forest Therapy) to various and heterogeneously composed training cohorts of adult learners. Lecturing is a part-time role and will be awarded per training cohort (i.e., full-time during intense five-day face-to-face workshops). Lecturers receive a time-limited consultancy contract from INFTA’s Accredited Training Provider. While they are largely free in their lecturing roles and assessment of the deliverables from trainees, they are working within an organisational framework with clearly defined course structures, content and tasks superseded by the International Core Curriculum of Forest Therapy . This requires team-work, being focussed, reliable and responsive, keeping strictly to agreed timelines and deliverables. In return, the positions are remunerated well above average, underscoring the importance and responsibilities vis-a-vis the trainees and INFTA.
