Penola Catholic College acknowledges that each student is a unique individual. Many students have additional needs that require attention on the journey along the learning continuum. The Learning Diversity Program compliments the pastoral care and curriculum offered at the College to enable each student to experience success and growth in their learning. For some students curriculum programs may be altered to create a positive learning environment to meet individual needs. The Learning Diversity Leader supports students who require an altered learning program or who are funded to receive support for their individual needs. There are three Learning Diversity Leaders – one for Years 7 to 8, Years 9 to 10 and Years 11 to 12. It is expected that the Learning Diversity Leaders will collaborate to ensure consistency in Learning Diversity at the College. This is full time fixed term role for 2026 Semester 1 with a Position of Leadership (POL)3 and will commence start of 2026. About You To be successful you will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students ‘learn best’ and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You will also be registered or have the ability to be registered with VIT. You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
